Yes, I am a pagan. It's a pretty tricky choice of faith, even in a city as open minded as New York. I haven't always lived here. I brought my faith with me from the deep, delicious and slow south. I have pushed it, pulled it, and adapted it to make it work in a place where you cannot see the stars, only rarely can see the moon, and feel it is a very lucky day if you feel earth rather than pavement beneath your feet.
I was inspired to write this blog because, well, sometimes I like to hear myself talk. More than that it was inspired by the fact that I have very few with whom I can share my faith. There are some good websites and great blogs about paganism in New York already (I'll get around to posting links eventually. They are my lifeline.) but none could I find that dealt with the simple nitty-gritty of being a solitary practitioner of magick in New York City. There have to be others like me out there in this city bursting with 8 and a half million people, and maybe they were searching for my thoughts just like I was searching for theirs.
